Jory's Senior Photos

This past weekend I had the privilege of taking a young woman from Randall High School's senior photos. Jory was such a pleasure to work with. Just like her sister last year she was very easy to photograph and is such a beautiful young lady.
Although it seems like the school year has just gotten started May will be here before you know it. If you know anyone who might like to use me for their senior photos have them give me a call. If I book a senior session with someone you have referred I will give you a $25 discount on your next session or on your next purchase. (Limit one discount per household). Just have them give me your name. I will add the discount to my books.

Summer's Over

Last weekend we decided to celebrate one last time before it started getting chilly at night. We had so much fun. The boys roasted weenies and marshmallows and Uncle Golden played the guitar. I'm so glad I got to have fun with my family. Seems like time is so fleeting these days. I don't get to enjoy the boys as much as I should. They are my life and love.
Enjoy your remaining days of warmth.

Christmas is Around the Corner

It's already mid September and 2008 is coming to a close. Now is the time to start thinking about your Christmas family photos and cards.
As of the moment I'm not to booked for October and November but that will soon change. If you would like to schedule an appointment for family photos please contact me ASAP. Spots will be filling up quickly.
Deadline for Christmas card orders is December 5. After which a $35 rush fee will be charged up until December 15. I have created several cards for purchase and they are posted on my website under the Customer Photos tab.
Once a design is chosen it will be removed. The cards are first come first serve. They will all be originals. You do not have to purchase your cards now just contact me and let me know which one you would like.

Our First Family Vacation

Well I survived my first family vacation with my in-laws and my boys. Up until now we decided the kids were to little to really enjoy vacation, but with Dax potty trained we figured the time had come. Mind you we did not go very far for very long but it was great.
We went down to Dallas and took the boys to Hurricane Harbor, the Dallas Zoo and to the Allen Outlet Mall (which was really for me).
I really think they had a blast. It was fun but I'm exhausted. We got home last night about 10pm and I had a job this afternoon. So re-cooping is going to be a challenge.
I did want to post a few of the photos. I hope you are enjoying your summer and are having a chance to spend time with family.

FREE PHOTO SHOOT

So is everybody as excited about July 4th as I am? It has always been my favorite holiday and my husbands birthday. So in honor of my favorite holiday I've decided to give away a free photo shoot and 16x20 print of your choice from your shoot.
So here's how it's going to work. In the comments section of this post tell me why you enjoy having pictures in your life and sign it with your first name and last initial. Then e-mail me at photosbytisha@gmail.com and leave me your information that matches (Name, Phone#, E-mail Address & a copy of your comment). This way no one else will be able to see your info and I won't confuse anyone.
Now for the rules!! Winner must be able to come to the Amarillo area for their shoot. One entry per household. I want to give as many people a chance as possible to enter so the deadline will not be until July 31. On August 1 I will hold a drawing of all names on Random.org and contact the winner.

My First Beach Family Is Up

After hours of looking at beach photos and tons of time spent editing I have my first family uploaded. These were taken at just about sunset. The sky was beautiful. It was such a beautiful night I wish I could have all my shoots turn out like this. I still have tons of work to do but the ball is rolling and things are coming together.
